  • Accommodation for clothing should be provided when protective clothing is required to be used.

  • proper maintenance and use of PPE, including appropriate behavior of the user 
  • PPE itself may produce uncomfortable, unhealthy or unsafe working conditions ;
  • only the user is protected, while others coming into the environment continue to be exposed ;
  • PPE can provide a false sense of security, in particular when it is not properly used 
  • PPE may introduce additional hazards to the workforce.

Head protection :

  • Safety helmets or hard hats to protect the head from injury due to falling or flying objects, or due to striking against objects or structures.   • Footwear of an appropriate type should be employed in workplaces where there are chances of injury from falling or crushing or crushing objects, hot or hazardous substances, sharp-edged tools or nails, and slippery wet surfaces. Appropriate safety footwear, such as shoes and boots should have firm, slip-resistant soles. sandals and similar footwear should not be allowed.

Respiratory protective equipment :

Hearing protection:
